Call came in at 7:16AM which by itself is suspicious and certainly not anyone that I know. It is listed as coming from Boston, but no name. Sent to voice mail, but none was left so it is not a call that I would ever answer.

They are listed as scam on the internet and harassing calls at place of employment
Call is from Portfolio Recovery. They have thousands of phone numbers and have been sued numerous times. Dont answer their calls

When I have talked to a representative and asked to be removed, they were extremely rude, cursing at me.
I have asked to be removed.
I have been telling the callers every time to remove me or ask to talk to a supervisor and they hang up.
I am reporting this to protect other people from this scam.
I answered and said hello. Male voice said « hi (my name). I said « yes ». He hung up.
Called left no message. Other sites have this listed as a social security scam.
They say they are cash Advance USA, but I know that legitimate cash advance companies don't make cold calls to get customers.
Claim they are going cancel your Social Security Number because it was comprised.

Strange SMS text message received today, Dec. 12, 2019, containing a hyperlink to YouTube. Didn't dare click on it—pretty sure it’s a virus, or spam at the very least.
The call starts by fishing for someone to respond. A voice says "Helloooo?" If you respond then a recorded message will start

We have received multiple calls from this number in the past two days.
Calls are anywhere from 9:17 am through almost 7p.m, Last call was just this morning at 11:35.
Possibly a spoofed caller ID.
