I received a call today (12/4/19) with the exact recording as the one above. I suspected a scam so I hung up and decided to check online first and then call the SSA if necessary. I am relieved to see that it is a scam.

They said they were with Social Security and there was suspicion activity and my social security number would be suspended.

This is a phone scam saying they are dispersing the police to your home and your place of employment. Then they ask where you live and where you work. they should know that if the police are on the way!
