yet I'm getting calls from all over the US, several calls, dailyNV, MN, TN, etc.

Scammer pretending to the be the police, saying that there is suspicious activity linked to one's SIN card.

about 1-2 per times a month.

Obviously I can't ask them not to call me, because there is no one to speak to on the line.

They texted my desk work phone and made it sound like I had set an appointment to talk with someone. When we called back they asked if we wanted a business loan. NOPE

calls but leaves no message. I just let the call go to voicemail. The line stays open for a while, as if someone is on the other end. Then my voicemail will give the option to repeat, save or delete.

Scammer will pose as a collector and in reality they are a scamming people. They will provide some actual info however its public record and they are actually an isralei company frauding seniors. BEWARE.

I continue to receive automated calls and now they disconnect the call before I can get through to a representative.

Got to be a scam if it has anything to do with Social Security Administration they would be on a recorded line and they want to ask you for your social security number

HANG UP AND THEY WOULD CALL RIGHT BACK. IF YOU HAVE EVER DONE SOMETHING ABOUT ONE OF THESE "BAD WORD", DO IT TO THEM AND STOP THIS "BAD WORD"

Phone number really belongs to Bank of New England in Bedford, NH. Warranty scams have been using the number, spoofing the caller ID to get past filters.

Received call from this number saying my ssn was suspended for suspicious activity

Trying to say they were the social security office saying I had drug records and trouble with the police. Wanted me to stay on the line. I think it was a recorded message. But you could hear their phone vibrate on the on the phone
