I got the same message as Chingao above. Knowing it was a scam I corresponded until he was ready to "make the purchase." I gave him a fake address just wanting him to have to spend some money. It isn't much but to send stuff UPS does have some cost to it. He hits me up every time I post on CL. Every time I respond and ask for money. What a doofus. Too bad some people actually fall for this line of BS. They must or he couldn't afford to keep sending checks. Hopefully he'll threaten me with the FBI as well. I wonder where he really is. Nigeria?

I got this exact same email from "Daniel domschot" an not only does it piss me off by lying an trying to scam people but I can not believe he has the balls to claim that he's in the US Marine core. How dare him. Disrespect the name of our troops an use it to scam people.

Skeptical I am of your immediate interest in my personal information. Skeptical of potential scammers I am! To meet you personally would make our transaction a bit more comfortable. If you could please send me your full name, address, and phone number so we could proceed with this transaction. As I mentioned, there are three interested parties in these phones and they are also listed on Ebay for a lot less money. This is a more secure way for me to receive payment for my stuff I sell. I have the same scam, fake sister, etc. The $2550 check was sent from a lady in Hanover, MN.The e-mail address I have is incnowrep@gmail.com. I guess, reporting the dumbass to FBI is the best and fastest way to get rid of him. Thanks for the posting.

This guy is at it again. He is on match as lonelyhrtme54, using the name Julia Erdan. Gets you interested then start asking questions about you. I being in the security software business tracked the name, number, and IM addresss he gave. I called him on it in IM session, told him I will report it to FBI and Match as he clearly is trying to get people interested then will pull his scam. What a creep.
