just got a check from a scammer today. The check was in a fake USPS envelope that had "Returned for Postage" stamped on it. The return label states it is from Kelly Tractor Co in Miami FL. The check is from Olney Friends School in Ohio. This is a private quaker boarding school that has a scam alert on their website not to cash these fraudulent checks. The bank listed on check is Wesbanco Bank in Ohio. And the letter accompanying the check is from a sharonmark3@gmail.com The scammer I was dealing with was Sarah Brown at BrownSarah302@yahoo.com The letter states to "get back to us as soon as you have received payment Via the email (securedpayment1@gmail.com) for the immediate verification"The scammer stated they were a renter from Spain, moving to the US to work for the Environmental Protection Agency EPA on private research. They wanted to rent a room sight unseen. Also the check is dated 10 January - over ten months ago!!!The check was for $2,850.00 when I was just expecting $700.00 from the scammer. WARNING - FRAUD - WARNING - FRAUD!!!
