I received a call from this number about 5 mins ago and they were asking me for some personal information.. the first 10 seconds I already know that its bogus but since I'm in the mood for f**ng around I just listened and gave them incorrect information.. like my birthday, bank account number. etc... now who is scammed? ? ? ? hahahaha, then I told the freaking woman that I worked in Washington DC and that she did not even sound like she's calling from the US.. she hung up on me.. so guess what.. the last laugh is mine....

I receuved a phone call today from a guy who sounded foreign. He asked for me by my first name only. I asked who was calling and he gave me his first name and immediately started his sales pitch that I had been accepted to receive $7,000.00 dollars from the Government! Sounds good but come on........the government is NOT giving away that kind of money!! I told the guy to take me off his calling list and he hung up on me.

they called me saying i owe debt and some how they have my ss# ...

omg i young so i didnt realize this was a scam i gave the guy my info he supposed to call me back in about 15 mins.. wat should i say?

Whatever info you gave them is in criminals' hand and you have to do damage control now. Contact your bank or card issuer, kill account(s) and get the money charged back. You have to replace all accounts you gave them info on. Never Western Union money to people you don't personally know. Google for info on how to deal with identity theft.

These people call several times a day. I answer and they hang up. I can hear them in the background, but they never say anything to me.

To be honest im alittle sharper than the average Joe, This guy has been trying to get ahold of my wife for so long now but he only has my number. He called me today and naturally out of pure trolling pleasure i answered and he had stated he is from the U.S Treasury Department in Washington D.C lol so naturally im on my computer when this occurs and he sounds like hes from India. You can't help but chuckle alittle bit when someone with that strong of a accent makes these false claims, I immedietly called his bluff and explained to him that his number was invalid due to the diffrent numbers on the Official site. While i was looking the site up he was pushing random numbers (getting mad) than he hung up. hahahaha, i hope he calls back later, that wasn't as fun as i anticipated. :(

I was called today from this number 11234567898 at around 5:00pm and I spoke to Jaqueline.She gave me the same story everybody else is telling about the 7000 grant money that the government is giving away. She said I was randomly selected and was one of 15000 Americans. She then gave me a grant approval number and told me to call Mark Wilson at this number. 202 470 0949. I was unfortunate enough to fall for this SCAM and called. Mark Wilson was supposed to be the person to verify everything was correct and he told me to go to Western Union and pay 100 as a one time fee and that this was going to go to charity. I went ahead and did just that around 7 and 6 minutes later it was picked up. Too late for me to get my money back. :( I hope my experience saves atleast one person from making the same mistake I made.ITS SCAM..DO NOT DO IT!!!!

Got a call at 6:43 what is it all about? It went to VM but no messages. The phone # just don't look right!!

They call me ALL THE TIME! I curse them out, tell them I wasnt born last nite etc etc. OMG ppl, how gullible can you be to fall for this stuff? COME ON! This is AMERICA, aint nothing free my friends. DUHHHHH I told the Indian sounding caller that I smell bullsh** from a mile away, come on now & stop calling me. They still call but hang up. I cant WAIT to get them on the line again & just mess with them. They deserve it. Scammers should be fined & jailed.
