Called me this morning waking me up at 7:30 am. When I answered they hung up on me!

Same Turds, 3rd time since first calling in mid Dec '15 and trying again a little over a week into Jan '16. Spoofed number "198 745-1845" CID "Unavailable" came in about 30 Minutes after another returning scam number 515 528-7962 CID "Unavailable" that 1st called back in Nov '14.Same turds have been using 515-528-7966/69/59/62 and many other numbers - all get promptly sent to the TelecoToilet for flushing to the sewer the calling turds crawled out of... ESAD AHsDon't interact with these scumbags it only get you more calls.

Exactly as happened to me!

Got a call from 198-745-1845 this afternoon. I had the cordless phone with me, away from the CID, so I answered. Some guy in New Delhi calling from "tech support." I said, "I bet you found a problem with my computer and if I give you my credit card number you can fix the problem." At that he hung up. Idiot! I listed this as a "Prank Call," but another choice for "Call Type" should be "scam call."

Called at 7:30 a.m! Did not answer, woke me up. Figured it was scam with a number outside the USA.

Called at 8:11 AM; no message left. I've turned the ringer off on my phone, and only turn it on for when I'm expecting calls so I wasn't up for it (I started doing that during the 2012 Presidential campaign; it's been a long four years, let me tell ya.)I have called the Federal Trade Commission in the past and it has helped (the FTC # is 817-382-4357.)

You may be able to use your phone's call block feature if it has one. Phone co only allows a few blocks anyway for land lines. I just blocked this # on my phone -- interesting area code, eh? Could be one where if you answer you get a big charge on your bill...

I am laughing so hard right now. This number called me and he got upset because I would not give him any information knowing that it is a scam and told him that I would have my mother who is a computer tech. work on my computer. I told him that he was a "crook" because he prays on people. He then proceeded to tell me, "you are a [***], your mother is a [***] [***] and you daughter is a [***] you [***]." He then hung up. He then called back with the number no longer stating OUT OF AREA but the number listed above - he began threatening to take care of the issue with me and made threats of harming me and continued to call me names. He then called back a 3rd time this time telling me that I have a black-ni**er-pu**y and that he will call me over and over basically stalking me. At this time I told him that I have nothing better to do than answer my phone - I told him that I would love to tell him about all of my freedom that I have here in the United States of America - because I have EVERYTHING that he would love to have - I also I invited him to my home - reminding him that in America we have the right to bear arms. :)

Foreign woman could not understand her. She said i was rude. I told her she was a scam and hung up.

Fake phone number tells you to be ready for some scammer-crook-idiot. This one is an alleged techie from India saying they have to fix my computer, blah-blah-blah. Reported to my online call-blocking service, so I look forward to the number being blocked.
