Asian woman called to tell me my computer has been deactivated and she can re-instate me. I said "you are one of those phone scam groups!! Stop calling here!" She denied it and said I would not be able to use my computer any more if I didn't do what she said. Very loud noises in the background making it hard to hear her.

Foreign sounding person, phone scam, Asian accent or maybe middle Eastern, female voice and as soon as I said do not call this number again I don't want to hear whatever crap you're trying to "sell", I'm not going to believe you because I know for sure this is a phone scam-she hung right up. So yeah if this number calls you just disregard it.

Call came in early this morning. Just a click on the line as they probably rang off because one of the other poor slobs they dialed simultaneously picked up before I did. CID showed the number as 011987451845. A$$HOLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

clearly a complete scam no one but your service provider can shut down your computer. never give anyone access to your system remotely

Called but left no message. We have a home answering machine so the calling party had the opportunity to tell us why they were calling but chose not to have their message recorded on it.

Had a delightful conversation about his mother. I overtalked him about how terrible she was in bed and hoped that he could teach her newer tricks. Then I called my 3 year old daughter out of her room and told her the phone was for her. Santa wants to speak to her about Christmas.

called and let phone ring and ring until I finally answered it. Was in the shower. Told him I did not want to talk to him and hang up and he told me "no". I know its probably not funny but he sounded like a petulant child. Wish I knew what to do with these people. You run like heck to pick up the phone and then get these stupid people. I tried to call back on another # and I'm told there is no such number but if I would dial such and such and then insert such and such info they would get in touch with me. Hate hate hate these jerks.

Call woke me up at 8:30am. Yeah. Some idiocy about finding something on the 'net from my computer, needing to be fixed. I played along, for a while. Becoming tired of it, I started answering in different languages, including gibberish. She asked if I was messing with her about 5 times, then started in with threats. I ran off.
