Caller ask me to except his call bye entering a two digit number and my name and your account is active
The is a third party that several companies use for two step verification, including Google. When you use 2 step verification with google, in order to sign in on a computer not recognized by the system it will require both the password and the phone call in order to log in. The service goes to a phone number specified somewhere along the way such as when you specify 2 step verification for using gmail or Chrome login..But I though of a few possibilities about phone calls you have gotten, some are more nefarious than others.1) Someone is using it as a fake contact number so people calling them back won't ever get back to them.2) If you have two part login verification, they might be trying to login to your account and the phone inquiry is to get you to give them the right verification number in order to log into your account.3) They might have some other fraud going that requires your personal information in order to carry it out.4) If they have already broken into your account, they may want to trick you into help them verify that they are the real legit owners of the account.5) They may be trying to hack your phone line so that your calls are forwarded to them so they can verify that they are you.etc.All in all....it is all the same. Unless you have a rock solid way of verifying who they are...like looking up in your own phone book who they are claiming to be and phoning them to confirm the call really came from there....DON:T INTERACT WITH STRANGERS WITHOUT A REAL VERIFICATION YOU KNOW YOU CAN TRUST....

Just like everyone else I am sick and tired of these unwanted calls that keep coming at all hours of the day can anyone help me to stop them? Where do I do to report them? Please help
