Just tried verifing my google account threw an app idk which one but i gave them the number for a free calling app i use but they got my email should i worry aboit that?
Google Voice - Account Verification. When you click on the E-Mail verify account button.This is the number that they will call you on.
At least in my case, this was a verification call from WAZE, a mapping application, which is a Google property. Perfectly legit, I asked for a voice call verify, it gave me a 4-digit code to enter into the app on my device.I'm not saying there isn't some scammer using this for a nefarious purpose, but the call is simply reciting a number and not expecting any response, so I'm not sure how a criminal could make use of this. Could be a case of someone mistyping their own number, dunno.
I had a guy name thomas who i met on zoosk who said he was in Africa who wanted me to send him money a 2024558888 number call me and ask me to push in45 which i did and now a person can call this 619 number in here my voice on the answer machine i wish that i could trace this person down i do have a picture of this person thank god that i didnt seen him any money
the people doing this [***] i figured are telemarketers my number is an authentic number and it begins with 202 455 but lately I ve been receiving a whole a lot good damn calls from 202 455 numbers, to be exact 79 calls all of them with the exact 202 area and the 455 pattern the only difference are the last 4 digits that change in every single one number that calls me that is why I know they are MISCHIEVOUS calls besides when I call back it says , the google voice massage has nopt been set up yet good bye, and sometimes ask to press any number to claim your reward, so these [***] are using some technology to do their harashing and when i went to my telephone company they could not or better said did not want to help me so the telephone companies sell your number to any [***] pays for it, what a [***] shame. Hate that [***]
