Scam call from this number wanted info.stated I am recieving 7000.00 grant from us government.Sounded more like call came from Arab country,such as India.

i got the same call.......cldnt even understand what they were saying but i was going to get 7000 dollars....

i almost just fell for it good thing i jus asked the inlawz

My wife at random got a call from this supposed organization stating that she was eligible for a $7000.00 US government grant. We in fact used a money transfer through Western Union of a total of $249.00+$10.00 fee to send and receive funds within minutes. After waiting for funds to be transferred into the account of our choice we were then notified that there were additional charges and supposed Federal and State Taxes in the sum of $435.00. To all whom receive a call from this number be knowledgeable that this is a scam to steal your hard earned dollars. If you receive a call from them they are of an Arab accent, claiming to be using the area code (202) claiming to be within the area of Washington D.C. If you don't take heed to our warning you will lose your money as well to Receiver Neeraj Jain, Indian Rupee. This is the mother of all scams don't make the same mistake as we did and get taken for a ride.

got call from 202-657-4227 saying that we would get 7000.00 if we go to a western union and send 249.00 and would receive 7000.00 in min. we called it back and ask for the website that they have said it was www.grants.gov and went to website and called that number 800-518-4726 and told them all about what they are doing to people as they are saying that they are them and the women that anwered the phone said he name was ashely and she was american not arab so we called them back and said that we talk to the website and they said that they do not call or email no one for for money that it was a scam so we called 202-657-4227 and told them that we have reported them too the www.grants.gov and they are looking into this number and this so called place to find them and i hope they do ! i am so sorry for all you that fell for this and hope you will look into things before you give money to someone before you look it up ! so if you want make a fraud claim call that number to stop them son of b**ches ! if you want to get a hold of them call *67-202-657-4227 and they will anwer your call and tell that we are all coming after them and will find out were they are at so dont set back and cry call them back and let them know how you fill and maybe they will stop that number ! god will give all that you guys have back and more!

I just got a call from this number, saying I was getting a $7000.00 U.S. grant and it didn't have to be repaid, can use it for whatever I need too, they had my address and wanted my date of birth, saying all I have to do is call this number back to verify with a supervisor, they would deposit it directly to my bank account, I don't think so, the guy could hardly speak english.
