I got a call from 202-888-6297 today (oct 10, '13) but I did not answer it because I have a strict policy of not answering calls that I don't recognize just for the very reason it might be a scam.
This number came in 2 days this week. Didn't answer, I'm going to add to my 'blocked numbers" list. Thanks for the provided info on this company.
A similar situation happened to me. They called my friend around 7pm. Just two minutes later, they called me. Same number. We do not have the same phone company, our phones are not linked in any way...

Got a call from them 10:54 CDT on my cell number here in Texas. Found this page before it stopped ringing, did not pick up, posted here at 10:55 CDT.
Got a call about free home security sign for placement in yard and installation of equipment, since according to the FBI a break-in occurs every few minutes. Prior to my hanging up, the message said to hit 9 to be removed from the call list. I suspect that hitting 9 provides the scammers with proof that the your number is valid, and can be sold to other scammers.
