I've blocked the number, all they get is a busy signal. Eight calls in the last three days and still counting, don't they ever give up? And no, it's MY phone, if someone I didn't want to talk to in the first place keeps calling me, I most certainly am not obligated to tell them I'm not interested.
The Quinnipiac employee needs to go back and study random theory again. Like another poster indicated, 8 calls in 3 days is not random; and another poster is 100% correct. My phone is unlisted and has been for well over 16 years due to my employment. I not sure what rule they are quoting to suggest I need to pick up to get on a don't call list - they are probably tracking numbers which answer, which validates them as wroking numbers, and then they sell the list to offset expenses of their survey.The probability of the "university" computer calling the same 10 digit number - wher you consider they are in area code 202 and Sacramento is only at 916 - thats must be one very expensive program and computer. If they "don't want to bother" us , as the employee indicates - DON'T CALL US!
