Even though people are saying this is a legitimate call from Amazon, I didn't request anything from Amazon and received a call - No Voicemail was left.
This was a legitimate call from Amazon Customer Service (for me, in this instance, anyway) because I initiated it on my account and told them to call me.
Some here say it was legit from Amazon, but this number called me early in the morning (robo call, CSR was talking to my voicemail unbeknownst to her.... She even asked if I had mute on, lol) before I was awake and I haven't bought anything from Amazon in over a year. And will continue to boycott their cheap labor, small business destruction, Bezos profiting ways.
Legitimate call back number from Amazon. Nothing in the"Call Type" pull down menu fits
Scam pretending to be delivering a package
This was Amazon customer service returning a call initiated by me.
I received a call this morning from Amazon Customer Service at my request to resolve a shipping issue
This number showed as Amazon customer service and wanted me to upgrade my account by logging into a different web-site
Don't believe the above messages claiming this is a legit Amazon call back. Note how the sock puppets use almost identical language in claiming it's a valid call. I specifically have Not requested any interaction with Amazon and they do Not have this number anywhere on file. This is a robo call telemarketer. The alleged callerID number *may* be a true Amazon number, but telemarketers can easily fake the outbound ID to appear to come from anywhere. If people actually expected and received a legit callback from Amazon, do you think that they'd report the number here?

Scammer spoofed this number, which is the US district court western division.
debt lawyer looking for somebody
another sneaky debt collector
Yes it did
I didn't recognize the number so I obviously was checking to see who it was
The person called to verify employment of someone, but I didn't recognize the person's name. The caller had an accent, and I couldn't understand them. I didn't call back to let them know they had reached a wrong number.
Quit smoking quit line. Not spam. I used the Quit line to quit smoking. This is a follow up call.
