As I wrote, I in fact didn't recognize the number. I saw the debate between "legit" and "scan" so I posted what just happened to me. I found out it is Amazon Logistics, not Amazon. Logistics is Amazon's delivery arm. (Logistics did mess up because no one was in office today. Package left in front of door was gone when colleague went over to bring it inside.. only 80 minutes passed from delivery to gone... Requested refund, which unfortunately screws third party seller.)

Someone using this number called, when I answered there seemed to be there cut I said "hello" twice and no one said a thing. I hung up. If it was a collector they would not only answer but keep you on the line for as long as it took.
