The number is from CreateSpace, an Amazon company. We published a book recently and there was an issue with how it is listed on Amazon. They called to say they have resolved the issue. So, it's a legitimate number.
Got a call from this number, 2 minutes of a guy saying "Hello?" to the voicemail recorder. He did say the name of a company but the accent was so thick and the quality of the recording so poor I couldn't tell what it was.
this is amazon customer service.
This is a legit call from Amazon Customer Service. Caller ID says the origin is from Seattle, Washington. I recently made a claim to dispute an order I did not receive from Amazon.
Yes, it is Amazon. I had emailed them. They tried to call, I didn't pick up, because I didn't recognize the number. Then they replied to my email and said they had tried to call.
I was got a call from a lady who said she was Amazon and had orders. I hung up scarred. Need to be clearer.
Caller said she was from Neilsen Ratings and wanted me to take a survey about my radio-listening habits. I refused to engage.
This is NOT amazon customer service. This number called my aunt claiming to be a friend of mine and asked for my number. She didn't give my number since she didn't think a friend of mine would 1. be calling her for my number or 2. not have my number. When she gave me this number, it was the same as a number that had already called me and also claimed to be from Amazon wanting to talk about a problem regarding a baby present I had ordered for my pregnant sister. But I don't have a pregnant sister. I don't have any sisters. And I didn't make any order. The guy on the phone was adamant and real Amazon customer service treats you nicer. If this is legitimately Amazon, why would they call my aunt claiming to be my friend? Answer: They wouldn't.

debt lawyer looking for somebody
another sneaky debt collector
Yes it did
I didn't recognize the number so I obviously was checking to see who it was
The person called to verify employment of someone, but I didn't recognize the person's name. The caller had an accent, and I couldn't understand them. I didn't call back to let them know they had reached a wrong number.
Quit smoking quit line. Not spam. I used the Quit line to quit smoking. This is a follow up call.
