I just got a call from his number, said he was Arthur from Amazon cust service regarding an order I placed last August....and how since they couldn't fill it they would give me a credit on my Amazon account. So I didn't initiate the call but I was surprised to get it...so maybe someone is pretending to be Amazon for scamming purposes? Let's see if I really get that email credit he promised me. I sure won't be clicking on any links...
No scam for me. I needed help to return something to Amazon and this was the number that called me back. However, I could tell it was an outsourced call so maybe this same number is being used by others besides Amazon customer service.
Amazon was delivering a package same-day and called because I live in a secure building and they needed to know what to do with it. Went downstairs and got my package from the delivery woman. Legit in this case.
This was a call back from Amazon for me as well. I had placed an order and requested that they call me back.
Claimed to be Amazon saying there was an issue with a delivery and asking me to confirm my name. I said they needed to tell me what they thought my name was and they hung up. SCAM AF.

This caller claimed to be a rep from Intuit/QuickBooks & we needed to renew our Subscription for $1899.99. After asking a few questions things sounded strange. Asked her for our PIN # & she did not give the correct number.
Call came in. Hello, hello. No response. Disconnected. Suspect possibly WELLS Fargo (WF) , but no actual idea. Don't trust one moment.
