Called me stating fraudent activity against me.

Ok, first of all to all of you filing complaints against these people. Who are you filing the complaint against. You go to the police dept and file a report against who? They are not a real business and are probably working our of someones basement of apt using disposable phones. Why waste you time. Have some fun with them. They tell you they will come to your home you tell them you are a concealed carry holder and you will defend yourself unless their is a real law enforcement office with them. Another one is they tell you they have filed a complaint with the local police for your arrest you tell them you will meet them there at the police dept and turn yourself in. Have fun with them. They ask for your cc # tell them to hold on then blow a whistle in the mouth piece of the phone.Also in these hard times a lot of people have fallen behind on credit card payment. If you are being sued it is a civil case, no one will come to your door unless it is a process server and a process server will NOT call you before he/she shows up. Also a process server will NOT ask for money AT ANY TIME. They will ask your name and hand you papers and walk away. Don't fall for this scam.

It's a scam, it's not true. Grow some balls and deal with them. I like to use a whistle in the phone.

these are all the same numbers that have been calling me at work for 2 months now.1 of them even had my cell phone number.Glad I am retiring!

Gave me a case # of vol235976, but when attempted to call the number back no one answered. No name of a company is given.

They are relentless calling my home, work cell and even my daughters cellphone. I really wish it would stop. I dont owe anyone money!!

Same # leaving me a 1/2 automated and the rest is s live person. It's a scam, saying the received a 'fax' complaint about me, I almost started laughing, it's so ridiculous as these people are doing just that...targeting those who've ever had a debt or knows someone that has. I agree with others on this, seek law enforcement help, follow the steps someone outlined before, no need to change your # but don't let them get away with it either. This is harassment and yes it needs to stop. I've kept track of all of the different #'s calling me and my husband over an old debt that was included in a bankruptcy that's well over the states statue of limitations, I guess they call it zombie debt which is big bucks for debt collectors even though by law they can't collect or harass you for it. So yes, they are clearly breaking the law and only the law enforcers can take care of it. I doubt getting a lawyer will help especially if these people are hackers and don't have an exact location.
