It's obviously not a total scam. When I send a TEXT from my PC to someone's number@TXT.ATT.NET number(so I don't have to pay to send him a message from my phone)It shows up on his phone as being from this number.It might be a code number that says it came from someone's PC. Maybe someone subscribed to TXT messages from a Lottery or something similar, then forgot, and they send it from a PC.You might try replying with word STOPwhich is how I got CocaCola to stop sending me texts, texts that I do remember asking for.John

Yes. The caller claimed to represent Document Delivery Services and threatened to serve me with papers from a fifteen year old debt. A check with my local County Clerk’s Office revealed no evidence of lawsuit filed.
