Mine was a caller with an Asian accent claiming to be calling from Kings Creek in Williamsburg, VA. (A 757 area code!) I angrily told her to remove my number from her list and never call again.
A woman with a foreign accent called and offered me free airline tickets if I visited their Myrtle Beach, SC location. I asked what company she was calling from and she said Grand Discovery. I asked her how did she receive my number, and she continued with her sales pitch. I informed her that she is calling a cell phone, and that it is illegal to solicit or call a cell phone without prior consent unless it's an emergency. I also told her to take my number off her call list and to never call me again.My number is registered with the National Do Not Call list. I started receiving strange calls and texts after downloading an app to my phone.
I am answering the call and then hanging up immediately - I figure it's reasonable. :)
Another scam maggot called by number. I will never answer or call back numbers that I do not recognize! These type calls are scams!! Never give out any information or you will regret it. I just blocked their number and my scam list keeps growing.
Here is their number, report them, spam them. They called me at 1130pm. I found that someone in another thread got a call and was able to get a call back number. I call it, they answered. I hung up. Within 5 Mins they called me back and I told them off. It's a sales scam and they are violating laws. I'm filling a complaint with my home state and Texas FTC.18776760341. Call them back and give them hell.
Called back from land line. recording says "You have reached a number that has been disconnected or is no longer in service.............." No legitimate business hides their number! Heads up folks.
Don't answer. If you answer, they know your phone is active. If you answered, don't tell them your name or ssn (Not even the 4 digits.) It's an organized long term scam. They have many numbers to call you from and a back of info on what they think is you. Be careful.

Got my name wrong, no where near close to the person they're trying to scam/contact. Call came from North Texas, left no company name, nothing. Shady asf, 888 area code is commonly used by scammers so this may not be legit.

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.

Call identification states Rocket Mortgage. Never call back a call without checking number first. Never take the name on caller ID to be the true caller.
