Just got a call 2 mins ago from that same number 210-301-0001, and I never answer my phone when I don't know the person who is calling. Well this has happened about 30-45 times in 2 months now. They never leave a message and I am from Ontario,Canada, and know nobody from Texas,USA. I hate people but I do respect Human kind....that said, I hate the people behind this cold calling!!F%@K!!
I am in Canada at a Government Law Office. I usually receive at least one call a week from these morons in Texas. I noticed the number come up this time and simply answered "hello" instead of the standard office greeting that they usually hang up on. I got the fog horn in my ear and a "this is your captain speaking..." I would like to know how they are getting our inside unlisted private numbers.
I live in Canada and the same happened to me. Just got the call, answered and she asked to confirm the last four digits of my SSN. Confirming means they already have it. Then why harass ANYONE if they already have the info they are fishing for. I confirmed nothing and asked for her name and what company she is representing and the offices call back number and she just hung up. If this happens again I am reporting it to the RCMP fraud line with a lengthy complaint. I just think it's rude for a stranger to call and ask for ANY information from anyone they don't know. It's probably a fishing scam (ID theft)... BEWARE.
This person from "texas" has been calling me for the last month... I've never picked up...seriously so annoying. going to report and see if i can get them blocked.
I have also been getting cell calls from this number and I live in Canada. I don't answer, and they don't leave a message. Irritating since I get charged for all incoming calls!
im extremely irritated by these calls, i work with a marketing company- they call us regularly and i also recieve these calls on my personal cell phone. Sometimes they call 3-4 times a week, other times i dont hear from them for months. i wonder if these calls actual bring any revenue to them, they have been doing this for years and years so obviously SOMEONE is following through with them. As far as im concerned, its harrassment.

Got my name wrong, no where near close to the person they're trying to scam/contact. Call came from North Texas, left no company name, nothing. Shady asf, 888 area code is commonly used by scammers so this may not be legit.

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.
