You're right, Scarborough is a for profit company, but they are not trying to sell anything to the consumers they call, making them exempt from the do not call list

If you have Comcast, press *60 and wait for prompts. You can dial in the number you want to block, or press 9 to add the last number. You can add or delete any number you like anytime you want to. It's a great feature and is called "call screening."

Have called the past two nights after 9pm. I won't answer.

The calls I got were from "Scarborough Research". I ignored them until I got a letter from a Laura Kincaid saying they really needed to survey me for TV viewing - even enclosed a dollar and an e-mail address. So I sent an an e-mail explaining that I don't answer anonymous calls. I got a reply saying I had been picked and couldn't be replaced on their list (!!?). I answered the next time. They said they wanted to ask the person in my house with the most recent birthday, so I asked my wife. She said "No". The representative said they would take us off their list. This number called me last night and the caller ID said Scarborough Res so I Googled it and found out that they are a research company. The caller cannot remove your number but if you go to their site and call their listed number, a supervisor can. They do about 200,000 calls per year pertaining to people's TV watching, radio listening, and internet habits, shopping likes, etc. The caller left a message and gave an 800 number to call and a web site to go to. I prefer to Google first.

Annoying phone calls from 2107363080, despite being on no call list. How does this happen. Drives me crazy. How do these people get our phone number and what other tupe of information are the getting about us that we dont' t know???

Oh goody. Now that I know it's a research company, I do think I'll answer the next time and tell them that I'll answer their survey questions after they answer mine, which is (in a really creepy voice) ... "What are you wearing?" *lip smack* Friend of mine did that once and never got another call. :D

please stop these annoying phones calls...i did not give them permission to call...sick of these calls day and night even weekends.

Called at 9:45 PM!!!!!! A message was left by a woman with a foreign accent that they wanted me to do a survey on television. Won't be doing that and will be blocking their number.
