This is the second time I've had to deal with them. I asked relatively nice the first time. I'm 14 so its technically illegal to advertise or continue to call someone under the age of 18 even after they should have taken them off the calling list, which, by the way, is called harassment. My mother sternly spoke to them about it and they stopped calling until February 15. So I don't really care if I could live a day in their lives. If you want the money for your family maybe you should find a job that doesn't involve putting others lives on hold, that could possibly cost them dearly. I was in the middle of visiting my great-aunt with cancer when they called. I never get called unless its an emergency so I just picked it up. I spent a half an hour trying to explain that I didn't have time to do any useless survey that is never going to benefit me in the slightest for a few years to come. As I was saying my great-aunt was mad at me because she didn't get to see me because of the "workers" call and ignorance. I hope they're happy that I'll never get to see my great-aunt ever again.
literally billions of numbers to call...smaller amount in a geographic given area, depends on if they call themselves national, international or local on that one.....

Here's a copy from another 800-post: These people at SRBI need TO STOP CALLING!THEIR OFFICES ARE AT:275 7TH AVE #2700NY, NY Reading all of these ridiculous comments made me realize that people have gotten too lazy to do their own research. ABT SRBI is a non-partisan marketing research firm that conducts surveys on behalf of other organizations. I know because I used to work there. We do not ask for money or social security numbers because that is completely against the rules and if someone requests for this information they will be immediately terminated since we do get monitored by our field supervisors. Yes, there are surveys that compensate you for your time, however if you refuse to accept it that is completely understandable. If you are interested in learning further about any of the surveys you have the right to request for a website. Most of the organizations provide a website for participants to know further about the studies. The telephone numbers are generated electronically so we do contact businesses, schools, nursing homes, hospitals, etc. We do have keys to classify the calls as such and will not be contacted again. When we do make contact, we enter notes and when there is no answer we will mark it as such and it will continue dialing these numbers until we make contact. The last survey I engaged in was on behalf of the New York City Dept of Health, I also participated in the PEW Research Study and other surveys. If it were under our control, we would definitely make the surveys shorter and quicker, but the questions are generated by the organizations we have a contract with and therefore cannot alter the questions, it will result in termination. Employees are not at fault for the actions of others so if you ask not to be called again, just nicely tell the next person you've already made this request. Being rude to people doesn't get you anywhere. Some of us are trying to provide our families with what they need and if doing surveys pays the bills, why not. I'm pretty sure most of you won't last a day in their shoes.
My cell has been called by this number 6 times in the last two weeks. No message, and I did not answer because I do not know anyone in the 212 area code, nor do I wish to speak to someone I don't know from the 212 area code. I just googled the number to see if there was any information about the source of these calls.
