These people are scammers. Say they are from Microsoft and that you have a virus. They will want to take control of your computer to help you get rid of it; then lock it and delete your data unless you pay them a ransom. Hang up on them and block.

Called at 7AM /Hung up. Scammer

I got the same call (with operator talk in the background): ( accent?: indian) man trying to gain access to my computer . i told him i was running windows 95 and he hung up on me. SCAM! Hung up onhim, this is the 3rd time we have received this call different numbers each time.

These [***] called at 6:15 AM in the middle of a snow storm to tell me my computer was sending error messages.

7:27am call from some guy with a thick accent - sounded Indian or Pakistani - "Urgent call about my computer. Don't I have a computer in my house?"

This number started another approach. They are still sound like dune heads and telling us they are the IRS and we owe money from back in 2012. Wow! I know the IRS will not let me go that long owing them money.I have no sympathy for people who believe any of these callers and give them any info what so ever.

This morning the caller(middle eastern) said he was calling from the IRS about my tax bill. The other day I received a call and it was about the computer.

Beware. These guys are scammers from India. They will claim to be from the IRS and will provide you with a supposed badge number. They may have your name as well but don't fall for it. They will try to threaten you to pay up. Just hang up.

Called in the middle of the night and woke me up. I called back the next day, but the phone just rings and rings.
