Thank you for this info. I work @ a Dr's office and we are very busy and it is more than annoying to get this daily call and the person just hangs up! Has he called you back since you threatened a call to the police?Also, how did you find out that the No. was associated to Trask Industries?

I received a call from a man with a very heavy accent telling me that he was from GPS mobile. He asked if I had a computer I told him yes and he told me that I needed to turn it on. I told him that my computer was on and sitting on my lap. He told me that my computer had been corrupted with _____? I could't understand the specifics of what he was saying. Since my laptop is working just fine I figure it was a scam and hung up on him.

Got call from this number pretend to be a microsoft suport and tolld that I have a infected software and oder b.sh. loock like a scam

Got a from 2124567890, the guy told me that my computer was downloading malicious software. I asked how can he see my computer. He said because they are a computer company. I asked what is my OS then, since you can see my computer? He mumbles it doesn't matter and told me to open up my computer and type something. I say I told use windows or Mac, I use Linux. He told me to hang on, he'll call his supervisor. I hang up. Very entertaining call on a sick day. In other words for nontechnical people, don't let anyone tell you what to do if you didn't initiate the call.

I refused to go to my comp to "fix" it as that guy told me and asked him not to call me . His response was "I will call you every day"

Told the caller I work for the Immigration Services and he hung up immediately. Next time I am telling him the call is recorded. They are doing this on another number to. What is weird is I have two different lines and it rang at the same time on both.

A man with a very thick Indian accent said he was with ?? company (couldn't understand it due to thick accent, despite asking twice). He asked me if I anti-virus on my computer and said something about "malware". I told him to put me on their Do Not Call List. He doggedly asked me again and then again if I had anti-virus on my computer. Without answering him, I repeated "Put me on your Do Not Call List" and hung up. I am already on the Federal Do Not Call List. I only answered because this was the 3rd call I've received from them in less than 24 hours. Caller ID showed "New York". I'm sure this is a scam to maliciously gain access to my computer.

Same story as everyone else. Been getting calls for a couple of months. Asked repeatedly for him not to call again. Sometimes it's a hang up, sometimes it's the attempt to talk about malicious downloads to my computer. I specifically said this time, "Do not call my home again." He laughed and snidely said, "Okay ma'am I won't call your home, next time I'll call your cell phone." It's getting a little creepy. I did register a complaint with the FTC. I hope they can stop this guy.
