Why do people keep getting calls after they are on the no call list?

telephone rang twice from 213-289-9006 and i answered it. no one spoke and hung up after several seconds..... grrrrrr

2132899006. Says it's a short survey and a free cruise. We are on the "do not call" list. I think this is a scam.

I did not answer nor did they leave a message.

Got a call from this number today(213)289-9006, hung up when I answerd the phone. Called the number back and it said "This number is not allocated". well, neither am I. I am on the do not call list since it started. Get a life and go away. Leave people alone, we don't want to be bothered by idiots like you..........

Hangs up everytime I pick up.

Hey people they left me a message! Message was along these lines like they were a friend of my sons and that they were going to be in town this weekend and a group of the guys were getting together if I'd call him back at 661-400-5213 and leave my sons number he sure would appreciate it because it's been awhile and for me to have a very Merry Christmas! I called the 213 number which stated the number you have dialed is unallocated , then called the 661 number and got Larry's voicemail no company name and of course no answer although the message had just been left. Yes Larry it has been a while my son is almost 25 and doesn't know you I truly hope no one falls for this crap. I left Larry a lengthy message that will make his ears burn before I wished him a Merry Cristmas as well. I wish these jerks would at least man up and tell you the name of the company they are working for what is the chance of filing a complaint if they are all going to spoof numbers?

An autodialer that hangs up as soon as the call is answered. I think it is testing for valid phone numbers. I report this to donotcall.gov every time they call.

Just called our 2 person clinical office and hung up within one second of me saying "Good afternoon.."lovely.
