LOL They just called, but I didn't answer. I was wondering who from LA could have called.
I get several calls from this number each week. It's a pre-recorded message asking you to participate in a phone survey regarding the nation's debt crisis. It says you will be given a 2-day cruise if you participate. Then it says push 1 to continue or 9 to be removed from our list. PUSHING 9 DOES NOT WORK! SO FRUSTRATING! When I call the number back, it says the number is not allocated.
Next time one these scam phone numbers calls me I am going to pretend its an ex- and yell at whoever thinking its him to leave me alone.Or pretend to come onto whoever it is and hang up, that would tick( if its a) him off since now he's in the mood and is stuck with blue balls. lol
And the latest Holiday scam: You get a robocall pretending to be a political poll. It's actually a travel agency in Florida (the National Center for Scamming the Gullible) trying to sell you a cruise. It pretends that you'll only have to pay some taxes "and a gratuity," but in fact once they get your credit card number, you're going to have that card maxed out. The *69 number comes up as 213-289-9006.

The person called to verify employment of someone, but I didn't recognize the person's name. The caller had an accent, and I couldn't understand them. I didn't call back to let them know they had reached a wrong number.

Unsolicited call. Wanted me to complete my "voter profile." I've voted from this address for over 20 years.
It happened to me they got into my computer and got all bank info they took over $4000. from me left me with nothing. Don't trust anyone this was a setup.
