Caller had an Indian accent and asked if I was owner of the windows computer at this residence. He hung up when I told him I did not have a computer that uses windows.

I just received another call from this number, after a pause, this guy picked up and started asking me if I wanted assistance building my website. I told him I wanted assistance in removing my # off their mailing list. I registered a .com with GoDaddy like 4 days ago and they are calling my work and it's getting annoying. If you have anything to do with online, these maggots are finding your information and asking if you need assistance with building a website.

Nothing for a while then "goodby". Ignore.

Caller called a business line - heavy accent - sounded like a speaker phone - unintelligible. Caller hung up. Whatever, but based on the posts here, couldn't be good.

I received a call from this number, a man asked for me by name. The guy had an Indian accent and the connection faded in and out. He said he was from "the technical department at Windows" and I had a problem with my computer that needed to be fixed. (I didn't even mention that I haven't owned a Windows computer for about 10 years)I tried to get some information out of him, he eventually said that his company name was something like "sys text 24" and they were working on behalf of Microsoft, which is of course a lie. I asked their address and he said they were in Los Angeles. I asked where in Los Angeles and he aggressively said "look do you want me to fix the problem with your computer or do you want to come and visit me?" I said I would love to come and visit them! So he said they were at 128 Park Avenue. I said I was pretty sure there was no Park Avenue in Los Angeles and asked for their postal / zip code. He started to say "oh it's Park Street" and then he just gave up and hung up on me.My uncle was scammed by one of these callers a few years ago so I get very annoyed at them! I'm disappointed I didn't get enough information to report them to the police.
