No message, caller will not respondwhen phone is answered. Happened twice today at 11 am and 5 pm.
Multiple calls from 213-525-6871. I never answer based on previous responses. They call early morning, mid-afternoon and late evening.
Called me and said that my computer had downloaded a malicious file. He wanted me to install software on my computer to fix the problem remotely. As soon as I started asking questions about who they were, he just hung up. Be careful!
Caller with heavy accent claimed to be from Windows technical support, telling me that there's a problem with my Windows computer. He must not have realized he called the business of an IT managed services provider. Just for fun, I asked him which windows computer. He said "the one in your home". When I asked again "which one?" he hung up. Idiots.
Got a call telling me my computer has virus and they are from microsoft or something to that effect. They knew my name without me telling them !!!I answered them saying ..I burnt my computer. They are ashes now.
I got a call from this number this morning, and they hung up without leaving a message. If they call back, maybe I should pick up just to have some fun as they try to help me fix the "Windows computer" that I don't have. If someone does try to access my computer during that time, their attempts can always be logged and reported.

Called and asked me to return call about a musical instrument that must be returned immediately. Got my name wrong as well. Scammers.

Got my name wrong, no where near close to the person they're trying to scam/contact. Call came from North Texas, left no company name, nothing. Shady asf, 888 area code is commonly used by scammers so this may not be legit.

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.
