Just got a call from this number. 11:07pm. Usually a time reserved for calls telling of a close relative's death. Didn't recognize, so didn't answer. Interesting that they are identifying themselves by different company names. Sounds like low-budget scammers.

Callled at 4:40 AM Wed, 11th, August, 2010. Caller ID says: AEGIS PEOPLE. Voice mail is 2 seconds long, it's a connection with somebody on the end of line that then hangs up.

It is 1800flowers customer service....just got a call from them after sending a complaint online

Yeah, they called my cell, then called my home. No message.

Cryptic call received 8 AM this morning trying to find out where to make an appointment with writer for a professional consultation. He said he'd been referred by a mutual friend whose name he had trouble coming up with. I asked why someone calling from California would be looking for a consullt in New Mexico. He stumbled on this one and instead asked what writer's schedule was and where I could be found. He would not give his name. He did have an Indian (Eastern) accent. I declined his request and terminated the call. I immediately redialed the number he'd called from and the message came on "the number you have reached ia a non-working number." My cell company - Verizon - could not explain to me why someone could call me using a "non-working" number. Hmm...I'll be visiting my US Congressman's office tomorrow to ask for an explanation about this.

Got a call from these dorks. Called my business line, left no message then they called my home line and again no message. Rule of thumb is, if they don't leave a message they sure as hell had nothing important for me to hear.

Got a call from these jerks today to our 800 business line. They are up to some monkey business, but it is not clear just what that is. The first thing they said: "Is this a business or a residence?" Answer: "A business" and they wanted to know the business name. I asked who they were and they claimed to be "Chase Card Services". I asked if it was a solicitation call and they said no. They repeated their question concerning the business name at least three times. Our business does not have any relationship with Chase. Chase would not be calling using a spoofed caller ID.
