Unfortunately criminals don't follow the existing laws today, and new laws will not stop them.they call from other countries and change numbers often so phone company blocking will have loop holes.My most effective method is to block whole area codes I have no use for, like 305 for Miami and 202 for Washington DC.

Per Verizon and other people, this is yet another spam call.

I am so sick of these g.d solicitation calls I could puke. What good is the Do Not Call List? I called the number back at 214-283-1316 and it says the number I have dialed has been disconnected. This is what happens on this Microsoft Technical Support scam. You call the number back and it doesn't work. Let's face it, the FCC and the US government as a whole (hole) just doesn't work!

caller ID showed " Survey". Don't know anyone with that number so we don't answer the phone. If they were legit, they would leave a message. These calls are almost as bad as the ones from the "paid fundraisers" who try to talk loudly over you when you tell them to put you on their do not call list. I can talk louder and faster than they canand hang up very quickly before they can interrupt me again. So far it's working.
