If your voicemail picks up, is that considered the same as answering the phone yourself? I never pick up the calls but I know they get my voicemail and they never leave a message.

I'm also on the so called Do Not Call List.What a joke.They just ignore it.Thank goodness for Caller ID.At least calls can be screened.

I don't know anyone in TX nor would I ever go back to that desolate, barren wasteland again, since I was stationed in the army and forced to live there for five months. It was like living on the moon! Don't believe all the hype; it's the crappiest place I've ever been to! Now back to our subject...I will just block the entire area code with my call blocker...it's as easy as blocking a single number.

I'm better off living in another country.. Nobody does shhht about scammers. We are probably the ones that hired them for the job ANYWAYS!!!!!..buncha garbage.

Thought it was an out-of-state call I was waitning for so I answered it. "Congradulations, you won a..." is all I heard before I hung up. Most likley a scammer.

Thanks for helping me figure out who this was. These calls are so frustrating. It would be great if I could filter all of my calls through 800notes.com before my phone would ring.

If people don't realize it yet, when you add your number to the DNC list, you are inviting these types of calls.Why, because legitimate telemarketers use this to cull out numbers. However these scum bags get this same list and now know that they have a complete list of legitamate live phone numbers.Another example of half baked government process that have not been thought out properly.
