Got the same call. All I did was just quickly picked up the phone and quickly put the receiver down.
Called this afternoon. When my wife said, "Please take me off your call list" the caller responded with, "But for $99 you can…"Interrupting him, my wife said, "You need to take me off your call list!" The caller said, "F*Ck you!" and hung up.Seriously??
I wish they would not call-it takes me so long to get to the phone as I am in a wheelchair-and then they hang up.I have updated the do not call list last week. don't they get a copy?
I got a call saying that I won a free cruise after completing a marketing survey. Press "1" to enter survey or "9" to be removed from the list.
Received a call on my landline at 10:24 am. Caller ID said from Texas. I did not answer and let it go to voice mail. No msg left. I do not respond to unknown calls. Nor do I call the number back.
I also received the same call on my home phone. They left no message. If you enter any contests or sign up to get free stuff online, be sure to read the fine print. You may not realize you are giving your information to other companies/affiliates besides the site you are on. I made that mistake once signing up for free samples didn't bother reading fine print and accepting terms. I went back to site later and read the fine print. Hopefully this will help someone.
