i keep getting calls from this number 865-6696 about a problem with mi computer i already threaten them with the police but they keep calling back

i have had the same number for the past several years, even after switching to sprint i was able to keep my same number. but i am still getting these calls.

These kind of numbers are reserved as transit containers for new switches or VOIP clients who are on limited networks and aren't passing their rpc endpoint data right so the proper switch doesn't apply an area code to the incoming call. Realistically the NSAs monitoring techniques are pretty far past your assumptions. They've got PC and network back doors for such. Think that's not enough ?? I could own every device on a network in 5mins flat with a spoofed dcom or maliciously signed packages that auto propagate from network advertised services.Wanna be safer? Lock down your devices. Only run them in user mode. Use runas, etc, to elevate permissions only when NEEDED.These calls are all from one circuit CID wise, but numerous originating points.

It's a company called Portfolio Recovery Associates. Just called me too. Don't know who they are.

I keep getting these calls as well. It seems to be a fax, beeps like it is a fax incoming waiting for a connection

I just got a new iPhone this past Saturday, today (Thursday) I get a call from this morning during my jog. No area code just 865-6696, strange so I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. If this is an issue with Sprint or the iPhone these companies should do something about this!

Exact same thing happened to me!!!!! I'm a little scared
