Its not Bank of America got that call today hung up on them and called the actual Bank of America and confirmed that its not a Bank of America number. Do not give them any personal info

Contacted BoA..... THIS IS NOT a phone number belonging to them!

Received a call from this number, there was a lag, a pause, a woman asked for me by name, as soon as I confirmed she was talking to the person she asked for, the line went dead. Immediately looked up the number, saw all the complaints, looks like a phishing scam in the making to me.

WHO CARES IF THIS 216-545-8515 IS BANK OF AMERICA? THIS IS COMPLETELY IRRELEVANT. ou must NEVER call a bank number from a stranger or on your CallerID. You must always call the number on the back of your card or from a trusted source like the local phone book. Potential scammer avoided! Problem solved!

Recently joined bank of America, started getting calls from 2165458515. Ohio. I do not respond to them, there has not been anybody on the line if i answered.

this company found my cell # and keeps calling - and I get charged every time!!!! How can we make this stop?

I am receiving a call from this number on my cell phone every day. Does anyone know how to block the number or place them on a do not call list?

this number is NOT a scam. i received three calls, two days apart each time. i answered the third one. it was indeed Bank of America, inquiring about a checking account that i recently set up. they knew a) that i had set it up, b) the type of account i set up, c) the name it was set up under, d) when they sent my debit card, e) that i had not yet ordered checks.they knew far too much information for it to be a scam - not sure how some people have been told that it is. they asked for no information at all - everything was yes/no answers. they wanted to see if i had any questions on the account, how easy their website was to navigate, etc. it was basically a "thank you" call. no scam whatsoever.

Got a call from this number today. No message was left. I called it back and it said it was Bank of America. I've recently set up an account with them. When someone came on the line, he asked what I was calling for. I said, I don't know, I just got a missed call from this number. Then he said that, yes, I had recently received a service call and if I had any questions. I did have a question about why they put a hold on your deposits for so long and was told that he would have to transfer me b/c he didn't have access to my account info. It then went to an automated system that wanted me to enter my account info. So, I hung up. I really don't think this is BoA b/c why would a customer service center call you and then have no idea how to answer your question. You don't really need someone's account info to explain why banks use holds sometimes. Also, glad I hung up when I did and came on this board. I usually check out all numbers here first, but didn't this time. Luckily, I didn't give out any personal information. And, from the sounds of the other posts, this is definitely a scam. This is a FRAUD. Do not believe the shills on this site who say it is Bank of America. Think about it: why would B of A call me 30+ times in the last 20 days? With caller IDs like "CALIFORNIA", "OHIO", "TEXAS"? When I don't have a B of A account?.
