Receiving calls from Javitch Block R 216-687-1199. They do not leave message. Called several times today
This number calls several times a day and throughout the week. Before I turned off my answering machine they would sometimes leave a message. The message the first few times seemed like it was a "live person". Since then it's been a recorded message. They state whom and what they are calling for and that if you are not the person they are seeking they ask that you call them back at a 1-800 number. I don't answer or call the number because I don't think that the calls will stop and it's not worth it for me to try.
This company has been calling my daughter for months saying my son owes them money, but give a number first for him or his spouse, and for everyone else to hang up. Then they proceed to give the name Chris Allen and another number. Now they are doing me, his mother the same way.The number they want him to call is 800-837-4601 ext.3116
I spoke to a man at this co., he was looking for my husbands nephew.I asked why he was calling our number because the person he is asking for is a relative but does not live here. He told me they got our number from the directory because our address is on the same road and we have the same last name. I informed him I do not work for their company and if they need research done I charge $40. per hour for a minimum 3 hrs.He said he would take us off their list.
I have been receiving calls for several weeks. A r ecording says the call is for "office" and if I am not "office" I am to hang up. I received two calls this morning about 10 minutes apart. I did not answer them. Not sure what the deal is, but I know I don't have any outstanding debt. Would like to hear from someone who has talked to a real live person.
I got a call from this number and answered.. it was someone from a law office so I figured it was a collection agency.. I got a few unpaid tickets I been dodging.. I found out how to piss them off, she kept asking for me by name & I kept asking who was calling and regarding what. She kept saying the name of the law firm and asking if I was the person in question.. I would not acknowledge yes or no & kept asking what the call was regarding.. she started to get really frustrated so I think if they can not confirm your idnetity they cant harrass you .. although if your reading this Im guessing you probably messed up and said '' yes thats me'' when they said your name..
The pond-scum behind these inane calls are beyond the pissing-me-off stage. As others have said, not only do they call repeatedly at different times of the day, they also make nearly back-to-back calls. On the first call, they hang up before I can get to the phone, then on the second call, I pick up to give them a piece of my mind, however, there is already a "debt-collection attempt" message being left. The lowest part of this entire situation is that I DO NOT KNOW WHO THEY ARE CALLING FOR OR WHAT THE DEBT IS! We are on the do not call list, and while I'm fairly sure they are NOT a not-for-profit organization, they seem to feel they're exempt from any and all guidelines regarding unwanted, disruptively rude phone calls!
I just decided to call the number (216-687-1199)and turn the tables on them. The call was answered by machine that offered two menu options: Press 1 if you are a court; Press 2 if you are calling about your account. I pressed 1 and was greeted by some uninteligible garble that asked how I could be helped. I replied I wanted to report the agency for calling my home without warrant...never even naming the person they were attempting to contact, and I did not owe any debt to anyone. The person said, "If you give me the number that's being called, I'll help you." After doing so, I learned they were looking for somebody who does not have my phone number, nor does that person live in my home. When I replied they had dialed a very wrong number, I was told that 'my number would be removed from the call list, and that all calls would cease and desist. Thank you for calling. Have a nice day and happy holiday.'Hope it will be a Merry Christmas after all!
