222-555-7777 / 2225557777

I have a magic jack that has a number similar to this one, my area code is different but the rest is 222-5557. I've been getting threatening phone messages because this number 222-555-7777 keeps calling peoples homes and hanging up. The people think it is me and it's not. They redial the number on their phone and since it is an international number their phone drops the 222 and then dials my area code then 222-5557 (that is if they are in my area code). I have contacted the Magic Jack company and they told me the number is one of theirs but it's an international number and their is nothing they can do about it.

Hello,I am about to register a complaint with DNCL and urge everyone who has been called by this number to do the same.I have been bothered several times by this person too. He says it's about my computer and today I told him "I have no problem with my computer; please put me on your do not call list." Then I started to think I had done the wrong thing and that he might be from my computer security group. I am really glad I googled.

Getting calls from 2225557777 and no one is there. It is on my 96-year-old Mother's phone and it is a pain. I cannot call it back either. Any way to track it down.

Just got the phone call. I tried to get into their head. I asked what their business is and where is it located. "I work for Google and Microsoft" and "We are in San Francisco on Chalperclle Dr." What a bunch of bull. My computer works just fine and there is no street in the world called Chalperclle, guess what, I Googled it on my Microsoft computer, what now!!!

Called many times in one day, always hung up. Finally got a real person today. Told me there was a problem with my computer and that he "had gotten a number of complaints..."After telling him that he was a piece of sh*t scammer, he told me he's going to "hack my computer" and "come kick my [***]."These are great guys. Indian accent, I should add. "Steve" was his name.

I just received a call from this number, but no one responded when I said hello. Hung up.

Had three calls to day from 222-555-7777 no one responded on the other end. This is aggravating & I want it to STOP!!!!Someone please do something to this person who keeps calling!!!

They have called over that last week , 3-4 times a day and hang up. About 6 months ago they also said they were from Micro Soft. I figured at the time if it was Micro Soft I would be able to understand them. Was blessed with no calls for about 6 months and now the daily intrusion.

I laughed so hard in this guys ear he hung up.

Picked up the phone since my daughter was napping and did not want her to wake up. Spoke to a woman on the other end with a thick accent. She said she was calling about viruses I could get from surfing the net and wanted to walk me though some offline steps to see if my computer was infected. Clearly a scam. I told her I could not understand her and she kept repeating herself with the EXACT same scripting and kept asking leading questions like "you do have a computer with windows?" and "you are in front of your computer now?" Told her I have my own methods of checking for infections and wasn't going to get on my computer.. then she hung up on me.
