Received a call from a man with a heavy accent claiming to be with Microsoft. He said they have been receiving reports of a virus infection from our computer to their server. We have our own server and do not currently use Microsoft. We hung up.
Calls my home "magicJack" number ALL of the time....normally, nobody on the other end!

This number just called my work. I said Hello how can I help you. The person said "no help" "how are you?"I just put the phone on my desk until he hung up. Might as well make them pay for there phone call.
Got the phone call from "Brad" the gentleman with a very heavy Indian accent. Wanted to speak to the authorized owner of the computer in the house. I basically cut him off and said I had his number and that I was forwarding it to the police. At first, he did not understand me.He then informed me that the police were on their way because I was using a pirated version of Windows software. I told him good, send them. I'll be waiting. He then hung up.Is there a recourse we can take against these scammers?
this number just called me I live in Baltimore. I was in the middle of something and I stutter so the guy called me an [***], I said what did you say and he said [***].
This guy is Nigerian. I know the accent. They have been calling me on my cell and now they got a whole of my home office based phone. I cursed him out last time and he called me like 6 times and I answered twice and he was offended I cursed him out, then I told him what I was going to do with his mother and some Vaseline.... I guess he did not like that either and he kept calling my cell. I never answered the cell. The same story that he was calling from Microsoft and was a technician and was trying to sell a virus plan. I am sure there has been plenty of people giving out their credit cards.
