Just got the call, answered it, it's telemarketers. They tell you that you have won a cruise to Bahamas. The usual annoying BS.
This number called me at 7pm last night. Didn't pick up. I'm in Toronto and with Rogers. Sounds like a telemarketer.
Received call at 19:00 - Sept 30th, 2014 - AlbertaDead Air - probably a marketing company, setting up valid client lists that they can sell to telemarketing company's so they can bombard the # with endless telemarketing BS products and services. I can't believe this happens...but it does. I have reported the # and an investigation is pending...I'm a Telus customer. Home phone numbers are becoming overrated with mobile alternatives quickly becoming a replacement for the same - time to cancel this service as these calls have become more frequent and uncontrollable by the service providers - they will loose this revenue in the very near future!
