Ok so this in reference to the other number I just reported on (213-426-2705)... I'm so glad I did this search, I had no idea this number would be here too, but when I receive it, it comes up as 1-234-567-89. The 213 number is immediately followed by this number, ringing only one time. I think it's a conspiracy to drive me insane, because if I could get just one of these people to say something after I answer I would make them cry so bad, they will be begging for a bah-bah!!!!!!! Stop the insanity!!!
Got a call from this # wanting my information to refill my diabetic supplies. Problem 1. It is a work # Problem 2 No one here orders diabetic supplies. It was asking for personal Information. Very bad because this is Florida, geriatric capital of the world an elderly person may give out this info to a recording!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I agree! I was on phone when they called me, but I didn't recognize the number. I decided to call it back and the options given made me believe that it was a telephone company. I just selected one of the options and the woman told me that they were based out of Denver, but didn't understand the name of the business or the type of business when she was answering my questions. Still confused about who they are but I know not to answer the call from them again!
Received a call from this number but didn't answer it, deicded to call it back and the options that was given to me sounded like I was calling a telephone company. I just selected any number and a woman came on the line. I explained why I was calling and she said that she wasn't really sure why they called me. I asked the name of the business and she gave me the name three times but I couldn't understand her. She also told me the type of business it was but again couldn't understand her. I then asked where they were based and she said Denver. No clue! Didn't say nothing ab0ut the VA hosptial or anything.
Received a call from this # today @ 2:19 pm (EST). I couldn't answer as I was busy . Caller left no message but I have had strange calls like this b4, with dif'nt #'s. I have heard of a scam using other peoples phone numbers to "shield", if you will, the actual callers' identity. Not sure how it works but a company in Nevada showed up on my caller id, I called it back and of course, non existant #. so I searched the company on the net and found a contact # , called it and they said they were working with officials to resolve the fraudualnt calls using their companies name to hide behind. Does this make sense? I do apologize for the lengthy post.My first question would be... Why aren't the phone companies telling customers to be aware of these things and are these "dead" calls a way for the scammers to obtain our info to use as a shield?? I am very concerned.

I got called when I'm in class, and I got kicked out as a result. It's probably those stupid, good-for-nothing telemarketers!
Voice service call to remind me that my diabetic medicine is up for renewal and to press "1" for them to send immediatley.... didn't pay too much attention to the rest. Was absolutely stunned to learn that I have diabetes from a telephone call. NO, I do not have diabetes... but the mere fact that this is the way our business world practices solicitation of business is absolutely disgusting and appalling. Besides the fact that I am on the do not call list.
