Call to service your account (credit card scammer)

My cell phone is registered on the national do not call list! These people keep calling to "lower my credit card interest rates" and claim they represent my bank. Funny when I ask specifically what credit card company, they can never answer that. Then they rudely hangup when I inform them, I carry a $0.00 Balance and ask to be removed from their call list!

Pre-recorded message along the lines of:, "hello senior citizen, I understand the importance of your wanting your independence..." blah blah blah. I hung up and then called the number back because sometimes there is an option to "remove your number from the call list". No so in this case. Then later on that day, I received a call back, another prerecorded message saying thank you for your interest. I hung up.

called but did not leave a message. i do not answer ANY calls that do not display their caller name & id. in this day of scams and deception it just isn't worth the risk. i would not let a stranger in my front door and i see no difference by letting them into my home via a telephone.

Got 2 calls from them in the last half hour. Glad I have a call blocker on my cell phone!

Got a call from this number but no voice.

Just got a call from these "reduce-your-interest-rate" imbeciles on my cellphone. Pressed 1, got put on hold for 5 minutes for live operator. Played WBZ radio for them for 30 seconds, before the guy on the phone got angry, started yelling and hung up :)

Told them this was a government phone. The black lady told me I [***] happy you gots free phone. I told her please don't call again, she told me don't be a dumbasd and don't press any number because there system will get all the information from my number. This is called phishing. It is a federal law to prohibit this.
