Second unwanted, unauthorized call received today from Florida (I'm in Illinois) - other was from 321/255-5798 - no message left; I have NO business with anyone in Florida. So much for the DO NOT CALL list being effective.

Calling to "lower"my credit card rate SCAMMERCaution, 239-257-8945 is a "spoofed" number, which means that whoever called you "tricked" your caller ID to display an incorrect phone number. Telemarketers do this so you cannot complain, but they failed... you can still file a complaint here to fight back against unethical telemarketers.
These scammers have called twice. I don't answer because that would validate the number for them. I simply keep the phone off the hook until they disconnect. It's just that much longer that they don't bother someone else.
This company has called me all morning long for 2 days in a row. It takes a lot of effort for me to get to the phone. These folks have poor customer service skills but I might just buy the product to get them off my back.
They kept calling and left no message. I finally answered. They wanted to help me reduce my credit card debt by lowering my interest rates. They first wanted the last four of my social and then asked for the last three numbers on the back of my card. I asked them why. The girl said so she could verify that I was who I said I was. I reminded her that SHE called ME. She finally asked for the whole credit card #. I asked her why, so she could use my card? She asked me if I was familiar with some credit card act, that if she used the card. I wouldn't have to pay if I reported that the card was used without my permission. I told her I wasn't going to give her my #. She got all upset and said she was doing this to help people and that I wasted her time. She then hung up. Sounds like a HUGE SCAM!

Called and asked me to return call about a musical instrument that must be returned immediately. Got my name wrong as well. Scammers.

Got my name wrong, no where near close to the person they're trying to scam/contact. Call came from North Texas, left no company name, nothing. Shady asf, 888 area code is commonly used by scammers so this may not be legit.

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.
