Answered phone. They remained silent. Why did they call?

Call came in on my cell phone. I don't know who they are or have had any contact with this number before. I do not know anyone from this number.

I am in CT and have recd calls from this number. I don't answer any calls from FL. They leave no message. Thanks to all the people above who have forewarned us about the scammers. Thanks.

When I am bored, I accept the calls and when asked for my credit card number I simply make one up then when asked for the 4 digit number on the back I again give a false number. They work with the info and ask me to confirm which I do. They then refer me to somebody else and I go through the same thing. I just give the false information to all their questions. My record for keeping them on the line is 47 minutes at which time I told them I was just making up numbers for them. The guy was very VERY angry and asked me why I would do such a thing. Of course I told him he was bugging me and who not stop the calls so I thought the best thing to do was waste as much of his time as possible just for fun. When he called me a bad name and hung up it really made me smile!!

Just got a call this morning, anyone else have a problem with Mint Corporation posing as a company they are not and then demanding payment. Had this experience with them with a utility company here and the utility company has no contract with them. I am thinking this is just a new harassment method from them.

robocall from 239-257-8945 caller ID said "WIRELESS CALLER" Tuesday 01-20-15 @ 231 PMCaller was a brand new voice and name this time "Scott" of card member services..............press 1 to talk to.....I pressed 1 and the callers phone started to ring as if I was calling them (may have a call forwarding systemon their line) Rang about 8 times, and finally a male said "my name is Anthony Collins agent - hello." I responded with "Hello" Caller than asked me "do you owe $3000 in credit card debt?"I said " Yes, I do." then it was like he hung-up, I said hello again a couple of times. I could then hear that he was back on the line but he did not say anything.Again he must have hung-up, because I then got the disconnect sound.
