These people are scammers. I have been having to deal with scammers for over six month. But I am up to the task. I am dumb like a fox. They don't get up early enough in the morning to scam me.
A call was attempted from this number to my cell phone. The number contains only automated response and no personal identification or location data. I do not answer calls from unknown numbers ~ they go directly to an anonymous mailbox. I will report this number to my carrier and block it. Had I been foolish enough to answer, they'd not have gotten any personal information ~ I work within the Legal system and divulge data only to known and trusted entities.
Additional data: the caller left no message. Of course, calling a cell phone is skating on very thin ice. Leaving a message is a form of petty theft ~ the scam is costing you whatever you pay per minute (or deducting from the amount of 'free' minutes you may be allocated per billing period. Again, the scam caller would still be guilty of stealing something that belonged to you). My true identity is NEVER revealed on a cell phone ~ no first or last names, no photos, not even initials. And I would certainly never post about a scam using my first or last name. Instead, I chose a pun. My phone has a security code. As for land line, the number is unlisted and answering machine also reveals only the area code, prefix and number. No names. This may seem cold & impersonal, but these are the measures one must take to secure one's privacy and is a method of curtailing ID theft. I recommend that others use similar tactics.
THIS NUMBER JUST CALLED THE HOUSE, BUT THANKS TO THIS SITE I NOW KNOW WHAT ITS ALL ABOUT. THANKS A LOT GUYS!
They called me today asking me "How am I enjoying my new Lamborghini". I asked if there from the dealer and they said they are not and I kept asking how did they get my number and they kept ignoring me and kept asking is everything fine. Thanks to them I feel really unsafe now and just set up an appointment to get low jack in about 2 hours.
ITS PROBABLY SOMEONE CALLING USING SPOOF CARD.. IF YOU HAVE SPOKEN THAT DOESNT LIKE YOU.. THEY CALL YOU USING SPOOF CARD.. ITS A PROGRA WHERE THEY CAN MAKE IT SEEM LIKE THEY ARE CALLING FROM ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD BUT ACTUALLY DIALING FROM THERE SELL PHONE THEY CAN MAKE YOU SEE WHAT YOU WANNA SEE ON YOUR CALLER ID..
I got a call from them earlier, they asked for me, I told them they had the wrong number they said "OK, sorry" and hung up. That was about 45 minutes ago hopefully they don't call back. Some people have been getting 6+ calls a day, if they do that I will file harassment. Some companies which people have linked this number too, there are actually a few.Broadwing Communications LLC based in MarylandVisa Credit CardBravia(?) Communications LLCLA College OnlineThen there are those people that say someone just says something random and hangs up. Quite odd. Definitely a group of scammers trying to pool personal info. Remember any company that you are doing business with will NOT ask for you private info over the phone or in an email. The only time you should ever give your info over the phone is if you are calling QVC or HSN and ordering a product.
They have called twice , the second time I answered and they said hello and then hung up
