I received the same call...I'm in Dickinson (south of Houston), male voice"Hi, my apologies for the message, but it was urgent that I called as soon as possible, I would like to let you know how important and appreciated you are to me and others, for some reason I know you needed to hear this right now, thanks and have a great day, Bye."

Same as above. Same message at 10:30 this morning, and I live in Houston as well...does ANYONE have any idea what this is about?

For a short time there, I thought this was really nice.Finally one of my grown up family had decided to say thanks .Guess not! I live in Katy Tx got the same call as everybody else at 10.33 this morning. I just checked googlw and got this site When I started reading these posts I thought maybe the donations that we leave at the door to be picked up from the varies charitites like Big Brothers and sisters, Purple hearts, Houston achievement, Paralized veterans etc. They have our telephone numbers. Still would have liked to think of it being one of my family using the internet sites to make automated calls.

I live in Houston and am a regular blood donor. I gave about two weeks ago but the message I received seemed more like a "God loves you" message. The person (male) indicated that he felt I needed to hear how important and appreciated I was and urgently needed to hear it now.

Also Houston area .. received same call at 1:30 pm.

I do not donate blood, give to charities, have a sick relative, or prayed lately. And I got this call also (also in Houston). Methinks it's someone testing to see if phone lines are active and then selling these active lines to telemarketers. Yes, I'm a skeptic....

I live in Cypress, TX-area code 832-and received the same message on my answering machine at 1:43PM. I have not given blood/donated to any charities.

I too am Houston area resident and received the same call at Noon today. After reading the other posts I'm not as spooked and nervous about the call and will take it as a kind gesture, which may very well be needed at this time.

I got the same call this morning....Though it was nice to hear, this just seems very weird to me. And the fact that the number is untraceable, is even weirder.
