received same mssg also my husband rec'd same telling him same thing.Now I knowthis is a scam because my husband does not owe anyone any money.Tried to call them back but it says the mail box is full.

I have got a call at my mother's residence stating I had a complaint filed against me. Left me a file # BBM, and stated I have a restraining order against me and to contact my attorney within 48 hours. This is a SCAM!!!! I have no knowledge of any suits against me and have never been a situation to have any. I do not want these people calling my mother's residence or they will have to contact there attorneys when I file harassment charges on these losers.!!!

I also received a call from this number, they also called my family members, now 48 hours later I receive a call from Johnathan Stewart from 855-393-3793 threatening to come to my job or home with a subpoena for the same "civil action" I will need my supervisor or head of security to be there as witnesses and I need two forms of ID. These people are CRAZY! I'm going to try to get their address so I can write the Attorney General and BBB but they won't be getting ANY information from me at all.

I too received this damn message - as did my 20something year old son, looking for me!!! These people need to be dealt with. This came on the heels of calls a few weeks ago with the "we're coming to serve you papers"!When I actually talked to these idiots, they said they worked for the State of Florida (lie and against the law), Service and Process Division (also Lie and against the law) and had papers to serve me. I told them to bring it on - serve the damn papers - didn't hear from them again till today! They also told my Daughter-In-Law they were waiting outside her front door to serve my son (lie lie lie and VERY against the law). Told the idiots to leave my kids out of this or they would be opening a can of worms they don't want to open. They NEVER gave me their address or company name, saying they were a private company and didnt have to tell me their address. They need to go crawl back into the hole they came out of!!

They said I had a restraining order.

I have gotten two of these calls. Both say there is a restraining order against me and that I have 24 hours to call this number 252-375-3449 but both times when I called the recording tells me that the mailbox is full and to try again later!So what do we do to make them stop?

RELAX EVERYONE. Its OK, its just a scam. Just for fun, go to YouTube and enter the phone number that called you (so far, there's two: 252-375-3449 and 727-202-1062). Listen to the very same message you received. Then let your friends and relatives know so they won't be rattled by these "threats"; and, whatever you do, DO NOT CALL THESE IDIOT SCAMMERS BACK! Doing so verifies both the name and phone number they have which, combined with the address attached to the name and phone, might allow them to obtain and/or use a social security number associated with your personal data. IF YOU ARE REALLY NERVOUS ABOUT ALREADY HAVING CALLED THEM AND GIVEN THEM TOO MUCH INFORMATION, check with the internal revenue service about possibly getting a substitute social security number to change all your accounts/cards/data-based files. ***Remember: Never give OR VERIFY your SS# to ANYONE who calls you (where you did not initiate the contact yourself). Same goes for your name, phone #, address or any other personal information. And last, but not least, no one can haul you into court or initiate a legal proceeding against you unless you are personally served with a court order-to-appear (which, of course, you would verify by LOOKING UP the REAL number for said court, calling them and confirming whatever case you assume has been brought against you). Thanks for the eloquent response Grandma - and great advice!!! NEVER NEVER NEVER give anyone who calls you ANY information about yourself, even just verifying address or SS #!! And also your words regarding court proceedings are right on - you CAN NOT be expected to go to court unless you have actually been served with court papers directly - and here in Florida, service HAS to be done by a Deputy Sheriff. I actually got a call where the idiots wanted me to verify my SS # to her - but she wanted me to GIVE her the entire number, not just verify one they had "on file" . Had a bit of fun with her - don;t think that one will call back - I hope!As far as these idiots at 252-375-3449 - they called and left messages on both my house lines, my cell phone and MY SON"S cell phone. He's in his late 20's , and knew it was a scam from the start. He called me to let me know - it just pisses me off that these scammers are involving my kids tho...If everyone follows your advice Grandma, maybe these "people" will just go away?? Wishful thinking...
