I think this is a scam. There was a recording and I saw on line that other people were scammed from calls from this number. They didn't know my name (or didn't say it) and said I had to appear in court as I was being accused in a civil investigation and should have my lawyer call them. It's ridiculous. The number I was supposed to call is 252-375-3449. I think they should be investigated. They are apparently located in North Carolina.
this are company they buy bad account from banks sample...I have a cr car own 10,000.00 they were not able to collect they sell this account for half price to a collection agencies so they will try to collect the $10,000.00 or at least 7 or 8,000.00 so that is what is happening ..I use to work on place like this ..
The BBB has contented this number to a company named American Document Services in Charleston WV. However, the real American Document Services as a document management company based in Las Crusas NM. There is a SCAM ALERT on their company website warning of this scam. These scammers have called me twice on my home and cell phone and have also called my apartment manager twice I have filed a police report. The recording stated that I had to appear in court. Please, if I needed to go to court I would be served papers.
My wife just got the same type of call as has been reported here, and numerous other sites. The recorded message says there is a court order and restraining order; that the matter must be settled within 24 hours. The only thing that bothered me is that they also called my wife's mother's home. That pisses me off! But, they are blocked now... and sites like this help save people lots of anguish & money. THANKS!
Repost from page 6My office just got the same call... their mistake is that I am a private investigator.. this is registered as a cell phone from bandwidth.com.. owner is Kade Ross.. I have all of his personal identification and his whole life history, including his all his phone numbers.. I will email him and make a call.. to explain his customer is doing this.. if the calls dont stop, I will post his information and open the flood gate to his cell, home,, and his wifes cell phone.. we can see how he likes it.meanwhile, I will be watching this site to see if there are anymore complaints.. of course Im using an anonymous name.. but I am a legit PI2nd repost of Joey B:OK, its obvious he doesn't care, so 1 of the executives of bandwidth.com is Kade Ross, DOB: 07/02/1979, his address: 900 Min Campus Dr. Raleigh NC 27606, (I wont post ssn, at least not yet), his cell (919) 260-2715, Bandwidth.com address: 4001 Weston Pkwy Ste 100, Cary NC 27513, he also has a secondary address of 3507 Edgemont Dr, Raleigh NC 27612, his email: kross@bandwidth.com (800) 808-5150
Agree with everything said so far. They haven't stopped. Have recieved calls from both numbers. JB. is Bandwith.com a legitimate service provider or a deceptive shell ? Does anyone want to share expenses and travel to Raleigh, NC ?
I too have received an automated call with a female voice calling from civil investigation unit and that I had a civil suit against me with a restraining order. They had a case/affidavit number. I was to return the call or forward to my attorney in 24-48 hr. I had no clue what it was about. I attempted to return the call but got message on all the options that the mailbox was full and to try my call later. At that time I researched on the Internet and have discovered that this is a big scam. The call came from North Carolina 252-375-3449
Got a voicemail from Civil Process Server saying that a civil complaint suit has been filed and that I am listed as the respondent and that I am to respond ASAP. They left a court file number. The message was not left by a real person but by a "robot." On my caller ID, it shows their number and Greenville, NC. I called them and it was a "robot" that answered. After answering their question regarding what I was calling about, I was routed and then I got the busy phone signal. I hung up and tried again 2 more times. Once again, I ended up with the busy signal. The person they named that the civil complaint was against is a relative of mine, but he has been deceased for over 5 years. I never spoke with a real person. It was a weird voicemail too...the same message was like on a loop repeat. The phone number left to call was an incomplete number. I had to get the full number from my caller ID.
