Just got a call from this number but didn't pick up - it's clearly some kind of telemarketing trick or a scammer.
i owe a lot of money to a lot of different angry people.. and i just got called from this number and got scared then i looked the number up online and many ppl say its a travel agency or something, thats a relieve...for now, at least its not from a bank or a gang group
I got one too at 2:30 PST on Feb 5, 2009. I'm in Vancouver, BC. This is my personal cell line, I haven't posted it online anywhere and I don't use Cragslist. The only people that have this number is my friends and places I do businesses like TD Bank, Rogers Video, etc. Possibly just a mass automated random dialing? Or one of the business I deal with sold my number, in which case I wish I could find out who so I'd discontinue my business with them.
I got a call from this number...I didnt recognize the number, but still answered anyway. It was an automated message in spanish saying that i have just won $500 and that I needed to dial 1 to claim my prize. I didnt dial 1 because I have heard of many scams like these where they ask you to dial 1 or give your phone number so that they can steal your information. so i just hung up...if they ask you to dial your phone number in order to be removed from database, dont do it!!!
Hey. The next time you can an automated prompt that tells you to press a particular digit to remove yourself from the calling list and then asks you for your number, don't provide it. There are many like this and can be scams.
Yeah -- it says your number has been chosen to win a million dollars. At that point I hung up. The pronunciation is Central/South American Spanish as opposed to Castillian.
I guess i'm the most recent victim. Just got called today at 1:36pm. Boo spanish telemarketers.
just got call from this number... I didn't answer...no message was left. I know that we are supposed to start getting annoying telemarketing calls, but I would be wary of people trying to use your cell number without you knowing it... be sure to check your bill to make sure there aren't any unwanted or extra charges.

Got my name wrong, no where near close to the person they're trying to scam/contact. Call came from North Texas, left no company name, nothing. Shady asf, 888 area code is commonly used by scammers so this may not be legit.

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.

Call identification states Rocket Mortgage. Never call back a call without checking number first. Never take the name on caller ID to be the true caller.
