I just received this phone call. In Spanish. It came after I posted an ad in the Tacoma section of Craigslist (253 is the Tacoma area code). Does anyone else think it could be related to a recent Craigslist posting?
Got a call from them too (2min ago) didn't pickup since i don't recognize the number. I called it back and got a machine saying it's related to Travel.
I just got a call from this # and let it go to voice mail because I did not recognize the #. No message left.
I got a call from this number and soon I got another call from: 412-401-8453. I think these two numbers are related. I just read all the other reports and try to think where they got my phone number? I am sure it's not from the Craigslist since I post ads there all the time and I do not leave my phone numbers. Recently, in December 2008, I made a trip to Mexico. And I used online hotel reservation and the United Air online reseration. I suspect some scamers got my phone number through those venues. Did anybody try to call them back?cs
yet again a call to my cell. this time they hu when i answered, on redial, my call did not go thru. i want them punished as i am on the national do not call list (yes, with this cell number!!)

Called and asked me to return call about a musical instrument that must be returned immediately. Got my name wrong as well. Scammers.

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.
