i have recieved a call to my personal mobile from the mentioned number and it is an advertising despite i have registered the number at DO NOT CALL.
Call it back. The first option is to be placed on the do not call list. It is option one. Says 24 hours to take effect. If I get more unwanted calls I will repost.
I got a called from this number and spoke to Richard Gerald, who said he works for the legal team.
Called me this morning on my mobile phone registered at DO NOT CALL list. A voice recording said something like: "Important message to all US citizens. If you owe any state or federal taxes press 1 to talk to a representative..."
I have had this number call me numerous times. I finally picked up and the woman on the other line was laughing, then hung up. I have read through all these comments and have seen 4 different types of businesses they claim to be. They claimed to help if you owe back taxes when they called me. This should be reported to the BBB and higher authorities.
That is what happened to me. What worries me is that they called several times, but when I finally answered and asked what they were talking about, she laughed and hung up and I haven't heard from them since. I hope they are stealing identities.
I am also registered with the Do Not Call list. That may be where they're getting the numbers OR they're random dialing with a computer.

Called and asked me to return call about a musical instrument that must be returned immediately. Got my name wrong as well. Scammers.

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.
